Suwon Lee

Piano Instructor

Korean pianist Suwon Lee is a distinguished performer and educator, who began her musical journey at the age of 11. She quickly gained recognition by winning several prestigious piano competitions in her youth, setting the stage for her future in music. Her early education was marked by excellence, graduating with honors from Sunhwa Arts Middle School, Seoul Arts High School, and Chugye University for the Arts in Korea.

Suwon Lee furthered her studies in the United States, where she earned her master’s degree at the University of North Texas under the guidance of the renowned pianist Gustavo Romero. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at the same institution, where she continues to refine her artistry and expand her knowledge.

In addition to her performance career, Suwon Lee is deeply committed to teaching. Her extensive experience as an educator is enriched by her active role as a performer, having given numerous recitals in both Korea and the United States. Last year, she was awarded second prize in the Petroff Competition, highlighting her dedication to excellence in both performance and education.
