Kejin Chen

​Violin

Kejin Chen is a talented violin performer from China who completed his Bachelor's degree at Texas Christian University under the tutelage of Dr. Elisabeth Adkins and Mr. Edward Newman. During his four years of study at TCU, Mr. Chen learned valuable lessons from Dr. Adkins, including the importance of practicing smart. He has since established his own private studio where he teaches children and teenagers. Mr. Chen uses various methods to help his students practice efficiently and effectively. He has a wealth of performance experience playing with the Baroque orchestra, global music program, and composers' recitals. Mr. Chen has a passion for teaching and enjoys sharing his knowledge and watching his students' growth. He is a patient teacher who guides his students to learn during class, encourages self-thinking, and emphasizes critical thinking skills. Mr. Chen just finished his master's degree at Jacobs School of Music under the guidance of Professor Grigory Kalinovsky.
